With the main objective of promoting Cuba as a destination for gastronomic services, the 13th edition of the Varadero Gourmet International Festival was inaugurated on Wednesday at the Plaza América fairgrounds.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, deputy tourism minister Adalberto Venero stated that the event aims to showcase the values of Cuban cuisine while also working towards its preservation.
