Cuba’s Economy and Planning Minister Ricardo Cabrisas has announced that Cuba will shortly present its updated portfolio of business opportunities for foreign investment, encompassing more than 450 projects.

Some 60 Canadian organizations including companies, national associations, and governmental agencies attended the 25th Annual International Havana Fair (FIHAV 2007) held at the Expocuba exhibition site to the west of the Cuban capital.
With the presence of the Canadian Ambassador to Cuba His Excellency Jean-Pierre Juneau, Prensa Latina News Agency Vice President Edilberto Méndez, the deputy director of the International Press Center in Havana, Rubén Abelenda, and other representatives of tourism, press and culture, the Cubaplus office in the capital of Cuba was officially opened.
Google signed an agreement in Havana with Cuban Telecommunications Company ETECSA, to allow the island access to the service of Google Global Cache (GGC).
During the closing ceremony of the 9th Cigar Festival, an auction was held featuring Cuban premium cigar humidors and works of art which raised €533,000 for the Cuban health system.
