It was as though Monet's gardens came alive for revered designer Roberto Cavalli, as a youthful parade of chiffon, petal-fringed leather and ruffles floated down his Milan runway. A departure from Cavalli's signature tigresse look, this season was more kittenish with, as Cavalli explained, "a twisted innocence." Garnering coveted private orders from fashion editors, this lauded collection's dreamy, watercolour, floral gowns, sheer print dresses, and sophisticated nude and metallic frocks are a fresh take on the spring garden party.

Look to Bs for the season's top accessories: bangles, bets and big bags have never been hotter. Safari—chic  al  Versace works for work, while theatrical brights (Miu Miu, Dior) are right for night. High waists abound and the wide-legged pant take shape For Spring. For him, silhouettes are slim and tailored in beachy  tons of sand and soft grey, with nods to '60s mod and collegiate slyles.
