Every year in summer , Zürich is gripped by the Caliente fever, when the biggest festival of Latin American culture in the German-speaking region takes place during the first weekend in July.
The seventeenth edition of the Fiesta del Tambor percussion festival, held annually in memory of Guillermo Barreto, took place in Havana recently, an explosion of Cuban soul. The week-long festival brought together Cuba’s best percussionists, rumberos, dance companies and popular Cuban bands at Havana’s top cultural venues.
At least 15 musicians from different countries will participate from April 22 to 29 at the 15th Festival and the International Guitar Competition of Havana, the organizers of the event confirmed.
