José (aka Tito) Merino Céspedes would never have imagined the distinct roads he would travel following his passion for photography.
Perhaps it all began in the 1980s when he started as a photographer in the army, or maybe it was two years later when taking pictures while in service in Angola.
His camera never stopped clicking for the Cuban media, thus reaching his apogee as a photographer.
Constant work produced excellent pictures with awards in the most important Cuban photography competitions, and many of them have been admired by the public in several personal and collective exhibitions.
Not only a master of lenses, Tito shares his knowledge of photographic technique in the conferences and workshops for students at the Jose Marti International Journalism Institute in Havana.
More than just photography, it is art that defines the work of this creator, who today lets us see the beauty possible in everyday life in the different spaces provided by the Prensa Latina News Agency.
