Cuba, an interesting place to invest

The II Investment Forum in Cuba is one of the key events at the 35th edition of the International Fair of Havana (Fihav) 2017, in which companies from 70 countries participate.The Expo-Cuba exhibition site, where Fihav 2017 is celebrated-until November 3, will be the setting for this Forum, which aims to facilitate exchanges between Cuban and foreign companies interested in conducting business.

FIHAV.jpgCuban goverment presented the Portfolio of Opportunities 2017-2018, which according to the directors of the Cuban Foreign Trade Ministry contains more projects than the previous one.In addition, it implies a greater amount of capital than the previous one, as well as a new base, with the priority economic sectors and the strategic core of the development projects until 2030.In the future, bilateral meetings will be held between Cuban and foreign businessmen, divided into sectorial tables, and only island entities with projects designed to begin negotiations directly will be presented.Nearly 3,000 exhibitors from more than 60 countries, 37 delegations from governments of Cuba's trading partner countries and 16 nations will have official pavilions at Fihav.Among them, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Venezuela, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, China, Russia and Spain, a country that will again be the most represented with five of those venues, including that of the Basque Country.
