Cuba promoted its tourist attractions in OTDYKH Leisure Fair
The natural beauties of Cuba and the security tourists are offered by the largest of the Antilles currently have been promoted in the 26th edition of the OTDYKH Leisure fair, the most global event of the sector in Russia.
Information released by the Cuban Foreign Ministry on its website adds that during the three days of this important meeting, concluded today, Juan Carlos Escalona, counselor for tourism at the island's embassy in Russia, exchanged at the country's Caribbean stand with exhibitors, tour operators and media on the security that the country currently offers to tourists who choose that destination to vacation in the midst of the situation that has caused Covid-19 around the world.
In addition to these exchanges, the fair allowed a meeting between Cuban musicians and artists from the Russian republics of Baskortostan and Karelia.
At present, Cuban authorities have adopted a rigorous sanitary hygiene protocol for tourists who arrive in the country since the opening of the international borders on July 1, which includes taking the temperature and rapid test upon arrival in the country, in addition to numerous other measures to preserve the health of both visitors and workers in the sector on the Island in all its facilities.
The 26th edition of OTDYKH Leisure, which regularly brings together representatives and specialists from more than 50 countries, on this occasion had the participation of professionals from Spain, China and Bulgaria, among others.
