Medical doctors and specialists from various fields will gather this Thursday to address the impact of cardiovascular disease, a critical health concern affecting both the global population and Cuba.
The auditorium of the 60-year-old Institute of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery, located in the capital, will host the 4th Cuban Symposium on Heart Failure and the 1st Cuban Symposium on Cardiomyopathies and Rare Cardiac Diseases.
Both scientific events will serve to showcase the latest advancements in the field of cardiology, including the detection and treatment of rare cardiac conditions.
The two-day conference will open tomorrow under the slogan: “Diseases do not begin in the hospital; success belongs to those who prevent them.”
Sponsored by the Cuban Society of Cardiology, the National Center for Medical Genetics, and the Institute itself, the scientific gathering will serve as a platform to exchange knowledge, present compelling case studies, and reaffirm a commitment to excellence in patient care across the field.
