CubaPLUS magazine is present at GuyExpo 2024 with its edition dedicated to Guyana, which was received by the President of that Caribbean nation, Dr Mohamed Irfaan Ali, from the hands of the general director of the publication, Dominic Soave.
During the tour of the exhibition, whose opening ceremony took place this Thursday, Ali was received at the Guyana Tourism Authority stand, where the editions dedicated to the Caribbean and Cuba, respectively, are also present. According to official information, some 283 exhibitors are participating in the Guy Expo, which takes place at the National Exhibition Center in Sophia, Greater Georgetown until next Sunday.
Speaking about the fair, during a preliminary visit, the Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce of Guyana, Oneidge Walrond, said that the show “is an excellent launching platform” in which participants from the region and from many countries of the world will be able to learn about new products that are on the market.
The opening ceremony was also attended by officials of the Guyanese government, members of the diplomatic corps accredited in that nation, as well as numerous guests.
