Guyanese mining engineer graduated with honors in Cuba

Guyanese KeronNiles, who is already in his country to start his life as a professional, was awarded the Best Foreign Student Graduate award from the University of Moa, in eastern Cuba.

According to information published by the embassy of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana on its official Facebook page, according to his professors, Niles was a remarkable student who did not allow any challenge to hinder his studies at the university, which is evidenced by obtaining this year third place (in a foreign language) out of 228 graduates comprising both domestic and foreign students.

Coming from the West Coast of Demerara, Region Three, he arrived in Havana in 2017 to continue his studies in Engineering and began the preparatory work from that date at the Agrarian University of Havana.

Later, he joined the University of Moa, where he continued studies in Mining Engineering. Congratulations to this young engineer and wishes that he continue to reap further success in his profession.
