The kiss is a manifestation of affection and love that has been practiced since time immemorial in any country in the world regardless of traditions.

The kiss is always well received in all circumstances, even if it is stolen. With regard to this, every July 6th the International Stolen Kiss Day is celebrated, which according to historical testimonies has been commemorated since the 19th century in Great Britain and has already spread throughout the world.

The kiss is one of the expressions of love that people use the most, because in addition to reflecting the affection that can be had for someone close, children, parents, partner, friends, it can be expressed in different ways and in many places in the body, according to the intention of the giver.

In short, there are countless ways to kiss, but the stolen kiss is usually on the lips and, I would dare to assure you that, although the intention of the person who gives it is to do it surreptitiously, in 99 percent of the cases it is very well received even if it appears otherwise.

The exact origin of that celebration is unknown, but it is known that the most famous stolen kiss in history occurred on August 14, 1945, whose testimony was reflected in an image of who was a famous photographer at the time: Alfred Eisenstaedt, when an American sailor in Manhattan's Time Square, New York, blew a nurse a huge kiss.

One piece of information you should know is that kissing has numerous health benefits, including lowering blood pressure, burning calories, helping to relieve stress and triggering endorphins, a substance secreted by the human brain, whose function is to stimulate the areas where pleasurable emotions are generated.

It is important to know that in the world the International Kissing Day is celebrated every April 13, but this is the one that is given and received voluntarily. However, all kisses have the same purpose: to express love and affection. If you want to enjoy good health and above all kiss someone you haven't been able to do it until now, don't think twice and kiss that person today, take advantage of the celebration and, surely, you will feel much better.
