Under the slogan "One Caribbean: Infinite Experiences," the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) will develop its promotional strategy to project an image of unity and security amid external fluctuations during the newly initiated year.

According to information published by the Italian specialized media outlet Travel Trade Caribbean (TTC), which quotes a statement from the CTO, the planned strategy for 2026 focuses not only on traditional assets such as world-class resorts and white-sand beaches but also emphasizes adventure tourism and immersion into heritage festivals.

Advanced bookings for the current winter season show an upward trend, confirming international travelers' confidence in the stability of Caribbean tourist infrastructure, adds the report. It notes that both cruise traffic and inter-island flights are operating under complete normality regarding connectivity issues.

This assertion is linked to the situation last weekend when there was a temporary closure of airspace routes in the southern basin due to recent geopolitical tensions in Venezuela. However, the global industry remains fully operational and open to the market, assured the statement.

Additionally, the organization called upon commercial partners and tour operators to maintain their marketing plans, reinforcing the notion that the Caribbean is a safe and welcoming environment. This declaration of operational stability comes at a critical moment ahead of major European trade fairs where the region will compete to attract tourists seeking alternatives due to climate or political instability elsewhere globally, concludes the TTC's information.
