Papas&Co. ratifies its leadership in the Cuban market

As on other occasions, the well-known Cuban company Papas & Co. attended the IV edition of the International Food, Beverages, Packaging and Food Technology (Cuba 2024) with its lines of sauces and snacks to ratify its hegemony in these productions in the national market.

papasCo-5.jpgIn an interview given to this publication, Yuslem Parada, specialist in Marketing and Communication from that company, said the presence of Papas in the exhibition meant its special interest in finding new suppliers of the raw materials necessary to produce their food, highly demanded by the Cuban population.

We know the situation that the country faces in terms of economic difficulties, hence the need to look for new suppliers so that we do not lack the necessary raw materials to maintain our productions stable and satisfy national demand, he pointed out.

Potatoes & Co. was created just over 25 years ago. At first, it was a mixed company and currently it is 100% Cuban. It is dedicated to the production and marketing of sweet and salty snacks; mayonnaise sauce and seasonings and spices, with two own brands: PELLY for the first line of products and FINDY for the second.

Among its main clients are the TRD store chain and the Tourism Group Seagull. The recently concluded IV edition of the International Food Fair, held in the Pabexpo halls, was sponsored by the ministry of the sector, Fira Barcelona, the Group Business Palco and the Cuban Chamber of Commerce.
