CubaPLUS Magazine

The new CubaPLUS/Guyana publication was presented this Friday during the 17th EXPOCARIBE International Fair, which takes place at the Heredia Cultural Complex, in Santiago de Cuba.

Speaking at the ceremony, the ambassador of Guyana in Cuba, His Excellency Abdool Halim Majeed CCH, highlighted the diplomatic, friendship and collaboration that unite his country with the largest of the Antilles, dating back five decades, and expressed the numerous activities that are being carried out for this reason.

Among them, he highlighted the release next November, during the Havana International Fair, of the special edition of the CubaPLUS/Guyana magazine, which will aim to make known to the world all that is positive about both countries, always in the context of the good and deep relationships that unite them.

He also pointed out the cooperation of InterCaribbean Airways airline that will be integrated into the magazine, and promote travel between Cuba and Guyana and vice versa. For his part, the General Director of CubaPLUS Magazine, Dominic Soave, thanked the collaboration of the Embassy of Guyana in the edition of the new publication, as well as the Prensa Latina agency, with which collaboration links have been maintained for three decades.

On the other hand, Katia Gil, advertising executive of CubaPLUS Magazine, presented the latest volume of that publication, which for 15 years has been promoting Cuba as a destination, its culture, advances in health and sports and traditions, in the Canadian market mainly, the United States and the Caribbean, in general.

Members of the diplomatic corps participating in EXPOCARIBE, Mr. Trevor Sadler, representative of InterCaribbean Airways, representatives of Cuban companies, executives of Prensa Latina and the national and foreign press also attended the presentation.
