Scheduled for July 2021 7th Workshop on Biological Diversity andTourism(BIOTUR)
The Seventh Workshop on Biological Diversity and Tourism (BIOTUR), an event of nature in eastern Cuba, will be held from July 16 to 18, 2021, according to an announcement published by its organizers in its website.
This meeting, convened by the nature tourism agency ECOTUR, includes an extensive program of conferences and workshops, including topics such as birds in the National Parks of Holguín.
During the three days of that meeting, several tours of interest will be planned to places considered protected areas such as Cerro Galano, a visit to the El Piñal farm, and the Alcalá farm in the eastern province of Holguin.
Participants will also be able to visit the Pico Cristal National Park, the Alejandro de Humboldt Park (Sector Ojito de Agua) and the Enigma path of the Farallones Cave, in the province itself.
Another interesting proposal in the program is a nautical crossing of the bay and the Gibara and Cacoyugüín rivers, as well as a visit to the Mensura Piloto National Park, Salto del Guayabo and La Sabina.
