Varadero and Paraíso beaches among the best in the world

The beaches of Varadero in Matanzas province, and Paraíso, of Cayo Largo del Sur, are among the best in the world according to criteria published by the TripAdvisor travel website.

Francisco Camps, commercial director of Melí Cuba, reported on his Twitter account that these spas are on the list of preferences on said website for this year, which constitutes recognition of the largest of the Antilles as a tourist destination, as well as one of the safest and most beautiful in the world.

Melí was one of the hotel chains operating in Cuba that opened a group of its facilities on July 1 to international tourism, especially those located on the beaches of the keys in the center-north of the archipelago, with strict hygienic and sanitary measures in accordance with what is established by the Ministry of Public Health and Tourism of the country.

These openings operate under the Melí Stay Safe Whit Melí slogans (Be safe with Melí) in correspondence with the protocols established due to the pandemic. One of these facilities, the Sol Palmeras hotel, in Varadero, recently received the Most Hygienic and Safe Tourism classification, which places it in an advantageous position before the reopening.

Melí is the Spanish chain that operates the most facilities in Cuba with a total of 39 and many of its hotels have been recognized with numerous awards such as the World Travel Awards, in different categories, the National Environmental Recognition in the category of Distinctive Seal, awarded by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment of Cuba, for considering it as a Responsible Center for the Environment.
