Dear Readers,
This edition of CubaPLUS Magazine is very special for those of us who work at the magazine and for you, who have followed us faithfully for the 15 years we are celebrating.
It is easy to say 15 years, but putting together a publication every quarter requires great effort on the part of editors, journalists, photographers, designers, publicists and, in general, all of us who take part in the editorial process to bring topics of interest to you, our reader, our reason for existing.
When this volume is published, it will be with the satisfaction of having achieved, with the collaboration of Prensa Latina, a quality magazine for our readers, and you can be sure that we will continue our work to satisfy the interest in getting to know Cuba even more.
On this occasion, the so-called ‘smokeless industry’ provides topics of great interest, since the edition will be present at the International Tourism Fair FITCUBA, dedicated to Cuba's cultural heritage, from May 2 to 5 at Havana’s Morro Cabaña Military Historical Park. Several related articles can be found within: Valley of the Sugar Mills, José Martí Revolution Square and the Knowledge of the Light Rum Masters.
This volume also contains plenty of information on health tourism, while art is represented by award-winning sculptor Oistel González, painter Máisel López, photographer Sonia Almaguer, vocal group Novel Voz, the designer Isis Flores and the 20th "Guillermo Barreto in Memoriam" Drum Festival.
The edition is completed with interesting pieces on Cuban industry in the business section, and a refreshing cocktail to toast our 15-year anniversary.
Congratulations to all of you!
