Native to Asia and a small number native to Europe, North America and Northwest Africa, their crops have spread throughout the world, due to the beauty and fragrance of these flowers, used as personal, house and religious decorations.
However, they are also grown for the extraction of essential oil, used in perfumery and cosmetics, medical and gastronomic uses. The rose bush is generally a thorny plant, very popular in gardens, there are even specific gardens called rose gardens, where only members of the genus are exposed.
These plants can vary in size, from miniature rose bushes 10 to 15 centimeters tall, to large, climbing bushes that reach several meters in height.
