The all-stars of the Cuban’s music Buena Vista Social Club will perform 11 concerts in Latin America countries with its principal figures, Eliades Ochoa and Barbarito Torres, two of its members announced.
These concerts will be a sort of performances in which we’ll make an overview of the grouping discography in nations which we have never visited or we had been there for a little time, the artists pointed out in a meeting with the press.
The Diva Omara Portuondo, singers Idania Valdes and Carlos Calunga, we, and some new musicians, incorporate after a series of changes in the line-up, will attend, they pointed out about the tour of which they didn't said more details.
It is a new state of the project, Ochoa commented, we continue with our respective careers, recording disks and performing concerts, but the Buena Vista call and we respond.
Ochoa as part of the grouping has handled in a parallel way his artistic life with success, the hardworking led to the expected results, for example, the albums recorded together with his quartet Patria, the Jigüe Band, and those titled Mi guitarra canta (My guitar sings) and Un bolero para ti (A bolero for you).
On the other hand, Torres, an exceptional lute player, remarked that he works in a new record with instrumentalists of other countries which will be release to the market under the record label Montuno Producciones.
