Oh, Canada! Welcome back to Havana

A large Canadian business delegation will participate in the 35th Havana International Fair, FIHAV 2017, which will be held from October 30 to November 3, the embassy of the Caribbean island here reported today.More than 60 companies and institutions, including the Government of the province of Ontario, as well as Atlantic Canada, representing the four country's eastern boundaries, will showcase its merchandise and services at the event, which will be held at the Expocuba exhibition center in the Cuban capital.

chris.jpgThe Quebec delegation will be headed by Christine Saint Pierre, Minister of International Relations and La Francophonie of that territory, who will also inaugurate the permanent representation of the Government of that province in Cuba, which will be located at the diplomatic headquarters of Canada in Havana.The Québec mission will be composed this year by more than 15 companies, one of which represents some 30 food producers in the region, as well as the agency Export Quebec, a unit of the Ministry of Economy, Science and Innovation at that level.
