The Canadian airline OWG (Off We Go) will start direct flights to Cuba on November 1 to destinations such as Cayo Coco, Holguín, Santa Clara and Varadero.
According to information released by tour operator Hola Sun Holidays, the decision responds to the agreement signed between both parties to start flights that will use modern B737-400 planes with a capacity of up to 188 passengers maximum and a range of flight with complete load of 3 850 kilometers.
On its official website, Hola Sun Holidays add that the flights originate in the city of Toronto, capital of the province of Ontario.
OWG is a newly created airline, whose opening has taken place in the midst of the current global tourism crisis caused by the new coronavirus pandemic.
Canada is the first issuer of tourists to Cuba and in the past year registered for the ninth consecutive year more than one million visitors.
