This process is completely free; no credit card information or any type of payment will be required, the site states, which also warns travelers that this information is official, as there are non-governmental pages with URL variations, which are not relevant and can cause confusion. Those traveling to the island via a third country must first obtain an electronic visa through www.evisacuba.cu and obtain a 10-character code that they must enter when completing the form at www.dviajeros.mitrans.gob.cu.
