Cayo Coco’s Airport among the best in The Caribbean

  The International Airport Jardines del Rey (King's Gardens) is current placed among the best in the Caribbean region because of achieves high efficiency and quality services standards. 

This worthy recognition is a result to obtain 98 percent of acceptance among the visitors who arrive to that airport, located in Cayo Coco, in the north coast of the Ciego de Avila province. 

The International Council of Airports also bore in mind, the traveler's stay time in the facility, which they maintain it below 18 minutes. 

On average they currently receive 49 weekly flights, most of them coming from Argentina, England, Russia and Canada, this last source country with most of the itineraries. 

Tamay Pérez, Cayo Coco airport facility’s manager, said to Latin Press that the center is distinguished to offer excellent attention as far as the traffic staff concern and a quickly solution to the passenger’s worries. 

She emphasized that after an intense recovery process due to the damages caused by the hurricane Irma, Jardines del Rey airport exhibit today an image more attractive, better comfort and a very cozy decoration, mainly, in the waiting room, the departure lounge and in the VIP lounge. 

She added that in accordance with the travelers' opinions they concentrated the commercial area, which in the new stage includes a Duty Free shop besides other four currently available and a Cigar House. 

Among the main airlines in operations are the England’s Thomas Cook; Air Transat, CanJet, WesJet, Air Canada and SunWing, from Canada; Russia’s Pegas and Cuba’s Aviation Cuban.
