For 10 years, every August 1st the International Day of Joy has been celebrated and, on this occasion, there are reasons to be joyful  for because, despite the fact that the pandemic has not yet been eradicated, it has been largely controlled in what refers to infections and deaths due to the disease have decreased.

Although, initially, it was only celebrated in a few countries, it is now universally celebrated because it is considered important to remember it and you think that joy is a subjective emotion that is based on the attitude of each person.

According to psychologists, no one is responsible for making you happy. Being happy depends entirely on each person. Decide to be happy no matter the circumstances and your face will shine.

Laughing is the best cosmetic for the exterior and the best medicine for the interior. A person can feel joy for many reasons: a caress, a hug, a child's laugh, listening to music that one likes, success in study or work, overcoming an illness, sharing with friends and many other situations.

However, you can be sure that a happy person performs more, tends to be healthier, overcome difficulties, and cause joy in those around him and do good. Joy is also closely linked to optimism, which is why when someone is happy those around him are also optimistic.

Renowned personalities from around the world have pronounced phrases in favor of joy, including one by the famous American scientist Benjamin Franklin who stated that joy is the philosopher's stone that turns everything into gold.

So, we urge you today to celebrate this beautiful day by doing some action that makes you and the people around you happy and you will see that you will feel much better.
