According to official information, within the framework of the event, foreign travel agents visited some provinces and cities to inspect resources and products to create more tourist routes to China.

With the theme “Nihao! China” (Hello China!), CITM 2024 was held at the National Convention and Exhibition Center and covered an area of 53,000 square meters, with around 2,500 standard stands.

Cuba participated with a delegation headed by the First Deputy Minister of Tourism, Jorge Alberto García, representatives of hotel chains, travel agencies, and two emblematic figures of the sport: Mijaín López, five-time Olympic champion in Greco-Roman wrestling, and Javier Sotomayor, world record holder in high jump.

The presence of the athletes at the Cuban stand caught the attention of numerous participants of the fair, who were interested in learning more about the goodness of Cuba, an official source confirmed.
