Collaboration agreement signed between Meliá Cuba and Marabana/Maracuba

The Spanish hotel chain Melí and Marabana/Maracuba of the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (CNCCMM) today signed a collaboration agreement through which the Tryp Habana Libre hotel will function as the Marabana headquarters during its next 4 editions.

  According to a press release released by Melí, this hotel facility will be the center from where organizers will manage the delivery of numbers, registrations, and all the activity related to the event.

  Likewise, both parties will work in favor of strengthening the races and walks in Cuba with a view to carrying them out in destinations such as Cayo Coco, Varadero, Trinidad or the Escambray mountains.

  A working group, made up of specialists from both entities, will be in charge of developing actions to guarantee the successful future of these projects. The agreement was signed by Gonzalo Echevarría, AreaManaging Director of Melí Cuba, and Carlos Gattorno, representative of the (CNCCMM).

  Marabana/Maracuba are races that have been organized in the largest of the Antilles for about 36 years with the participation of athletes and people in general from the island and the world and whose main objective is to strengthen actions as an option to practice physical exercises, individually or collectively in correspondence with the interests of the participants in appropriate scenarios that allow measuring and evaluating their progress in physical efficiency and as a way to occupy free time, socialize sport and quality of life.
