The International Fair of Food, Beverages, Packaging and Food Technology Cuba 2024 will take place from May 21 to 23 in the halls of Pabexpo in Havana, announced this Tuesday the first vice minister of the sector Javier Francisco Aguiar.
In a press conference, Aguiar explained the importance of this exhibition that will allow participants to present their different productions and, at the same time, learn about the possibilities that the sector provides for foreign investment. He also highlighted the event as an opportunity for Cuban economic actors and foreigners to explore possibilities for industrial production on the island in that sector, which can benefit the population and tourism.
Regarding the participation of the foreign business community, the official pointed out that at the moment, more than 40 foreign entities from 13 countries have confirmed their presence in addition to a large group of national economic organizations and actors. He announced that a higher participation is expected than that of the 2022 fair.
During the exhibition, attendees will be able to learn about the main product offers as beverages, food processing and packaging machinery, among others. The event is considered by the country's sector authorities to be of utmost importance since it is a conducive space to establish strategic commercial contacts with the purpose of contributing to the development and evolution of the national food industry.
