The "Comandante Ernesto Che Guevara" Nickel Company is currently spearheading the installation of a new sedimentation tank utilizing Chinese technology, a key step in modernizing the technological workflow of Holguín’s mining industry.
The facility’s General Director, Alexander Garcés, recently inspected the progress on unit 109 (Series B) within the leaching and washing plant. Accompanied by production and plant executives, Garcés affirmed that this investment is critical for implementing technical enhancements in mineral processing.
The deployment of Chinese technology at the facility aims to bolster operational efficiency and optimize resource management within one of the nation’s most vital economic sectors.
This project is a key component of Cuba’s industrial development program, which focuses on upgrading national infrastructure through international cooperation and the expertise of local specialists.
