Cuba Will Welcome Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall

Cuba is pleased with the official announcement of the visit in March of its Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, Cuba''s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The Foreign Ministry announced in Twitter that Carlos, the UK heir to the crown, together with his wife Camila Parker, would be welcome in our country. British media highlighted in recent days that this is the first visit to Cuba by members of the country's royalty. Their Royal Highnesses will arrive in Cuba on Sunday, March 24, a visit will highlight the cultural, academic and people-to-people ties between the United Kingdom and Cuba, as well as exploring arts issues, the work of young entrepreneurs, heritage restoration and sustainable agriculture. Visitors will complete a varied program, culminating on Wednesday, March 27, official sources said. Ther Royal Highnesses Carlos and Camila will travel to a province on the southern coast to learn more about local flora and fauna, attend an environmental and nature conservation event, and be at a roundtable to exchange views on the work being done in Cuba to support victims of sexual and domestic abuse.
