Under the motto: ¨For sustainable hydraulic engineering¨ Cubagua 2023 will take place next March in Havana with the participation of representatives from six nations, including more than 30 Cuban companies.
During a press conference offered this Thursday at the headquarters of the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources (INRH), the organizing committee of that event said the meeting will promote the sharing of knowledge, the dissemination of updated information and the promotion of associated technologies and productsto the management and use of water, within the framework of the 2030 Agenda.
For this reason, academics, researchers, professionals and national students are invited to participate, as well as Cubans residing abroad, private companies, non-agricultural cooperatives and self-employed workers linked to the sector, for which reason the call remains open.
The meeting includes the XV Hydraulic Engineering Congress that will have 5 forums to analyze the integrated management of water in river basins, water and sanitation in urban and rural areas, among other topics.
In addition to this, a Commercial Technical Symposium and an Exhibition of Water Technologies and Products will be held. During the conference, Bladimir Matos, first vice president of INRH, explained that the event will also be blended, which will allow sharing experiences and technologies, since water problems and solutions are common throughout the world.
The event that will take place from March 22 -International Water Day- to March 25 in the halls of the capital's Pabexpo venue, will have France as the guest country, since Cuba has always relied on that European nation for cooperation and commercial exchange in favor of of hydraulic development.
