The Cubaindustria 2024 exhibition fair opened this Tuesday at the capital's premises. Pabexpo, with the presence of Cuban President Miguel Díaz Canel and the Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz.
When speaking at the ceremony, the Vice Minister of Industries, Ernesto Cedeño pointed out that the present fair has the main purpose to achieve greater integration, complementarity, international insertion of Cuba within the sector and pointed out that this event will be an important space with the aim of joining forces and in favor of strengthening alliances.
This exhibition, as in previous years, will take place parallel to the International Convention which has been taking place since the day before, at the Havana Convention Palace with numerous activities, including 10 Congresses related to various topics in the sector, keynote conferences, presentations and round tables.
The fair has a space of about four thousand square meters with around 360 participants, of which 276 will be national exhibitors from 94 entities and 49 foreigners from 22 firms; 13 forms of non-state management and 22 linked to the activity of design. Among the results expected from the fair that will close its doors next Friday, are included the signing of 26 legal documents linked to investment, trade and industrial cooperation.
