The DIVEP marketing company is working on an ambitious project in favor of the environment, the first fruits of which are expected to be achieved before the end of this year.

In an exclusive conversation with this publication regarding its participation in the recently concluded International Transport and Logistics Fair, the general director of the entity, Yalain Muñoz Fernández, explained the work currently being carried out by the company he represents, which will contribute notably to the decrease in fuel consumption in the country.

We are making the chain with the Mipyme (Micro, small and medium-sized company) PADA for the conversion of combustion cars to electric ones. Something very typical throughout the world, including Latin America, with which we can focus on state and non-state companies and private owners to convert combustion engine cars into electric ones."

"With this process, the combustion engine and the radiator are changed for an electric motor, the batteries and the charger to any type of vehicle, whether they are modern or old cars," he explained. &Also, he continued, we have the Ecoassist modality, a mobile technical assistance service on the road for all types of vehicles that allows us to offer an immediate solution to the problems  they present without the need to transfer it to a workshop, which helps avoid unnecessary expenses and delays.

We also have tricycles with solar panels to charge the vehicles when they run out of power. This project, on our part, plans to contribute everything that is the workshop and facilities and by PADA the know-how, is aimed at sustainable development without having to discard the vehicles that exist today, he emphasized.

Created in 1996, DIVEP is a leader in the commercialization of the production of the Iron and Steel Industry and others of the national industry, including the automotive industry, while PADA, with a decade of work, aims to develop sustainable technologies and services.

The work carried out jointly by both companies will benefit the country both from the point of view of fuel savings and in favor of the environment, since an electric car has zero greenhouse gas emissions, as its operation depends on a battery to power its engine, which avoids burning fuel internally and consumes less harmful and polluting liquids, such as motor oil and coolants.
