Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel today visited the Pabexpo fairgrounds in Havana, on the occasion of the XVI International Health for All Fair, which concludes today.The fair brought together 263 companies, including 142 from 37 countries, in conjunction with the V Convention Cuba Salud 2025, taking place until Friday at the Havana Convention Palace. Approximately five thousand business representatives and specialists from 88 countries are participating in the Convention.
The President spent just over an hour speaking with exhibitors, inquiring about projects undertaken by Cuban and foreign companies, collaborative partnerships, and opportunities for growth. The Presidency reported this news on the social media platform X.
President Díaz-Canel thanked the business representatives for attending the event and wished them success in developing new ventures.
He also lauded the achievements and progress in applying science, innovation, and technology to healthcare on a global scale.China was the guest of honor at the XVI Health for All Fair, held since April 21 as part of the V Convention Cuba Salud 2025.
China is the primary provider of medications and supplies to the Cuban healthcare system, and currently has five medical service contracts in place.
