Cuban President, Miguel Díaz-Canel, inaugurated the 36th International Havana Trade Fair (FIHAV), one of the most important commercial events in Latin America, attended by some three thousand exhibitors of 65 countries.
Until0 next November 2, the fair will allow for meetings between many foreign businesspeople and investors and those of the Greater of the Antilles, confirming the interest awakened by the country’s business possibilities.
When speaking at the opening ceremony, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment (Mincex), Rodrigo Malmierca, considered that Fihav 2018 will be an excellent space to do business and exchange commercial and investment interests.
Further on, he said this important trade event has an ample presence of the country’s main partners, among them Venezuela, Russia, China and Spain, that again is the most represented nation.
Malmierca also announced the commercial exchange will include numerous activities dedicated to the 500th birthday of the foundation of the Ville of St. Christopher of Havana, marked on November 16, 2019.
Among the most awaited events by participants is the 3rd Investment Forum between Russia, Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as another event to promote investment and the presentation of the Mariel Special Development Zone, important economic enclave which will allow the exchange of experience located west of the capital.
Also, another outstansding feature is, without doubt, in the days of the fair, is the presentation of the portfolio of opportunities, the map of exporters and of the export offer, as well as the official summons to the Fair of the Caribbean 2019..
