With her best mark of the season, the Caribbean secured her place in the semis after arriving in the second position of the qualifying series number four.
In Latin America and the Caribbean, the Jamaicans Stacey Ann Williams, Nickisha Pryce and Junelle Bromfield, the Mexican Paola Morán, the Barbadian Sada Williams and the Dominican Marileidy Paulino, world champion in 2023 and Olympic runner-up in Tokyo 2020 also obtained a direct passport to the semifinals.
