After 25 years of service, the representation of Cuba#39;s flagship airline Cubana de Aviación in Italy currently plans into the future despite the obstacles imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Isis Toboso, general director of Cubana de Aviacion airline for Italy, said this statement to Prensa Latina. She operates on a shared flight scheme for the transportation of passengers with local Blue Panorama Airline Company.
We started this year with high growth expectations and proposals for new internal destinations Havana-Los Cayos and Havana-Santiago de Cuba, momentarily frustrated by the measures applied to contain the spread of Covid-19 as of March, Toboso said.
The paralysis caused by these provisions regarding regular flights persists and only some special flights are being carried out, very punctually, due to humanitarian reasons, she said.
The Cubana de Aviación representation in Italy maintains its growth plans in force, with which they will continue making progress to the extent that the development of those events allows it, Toboso stressed.
