Cubanacan Hotels: More Reasons to Travel to Cuba

The launch this Wednesday of a FAM trip, organized by the Cubanacan hotel group under the banner "Motivos Cubanacan," marks a significant event for travel agency representatives and tour operators who sell this destination. They will gain even more compelling "reasons" to attract tourists who choose to vacation on the island.

soroa castillo.jpgA total of 92 guests from 15 Latin American and European countries, including specialized press accredited in Cuba, are participating in this tour. It begins in the westernmost province, Pinar del Río, specifically in Viñales, a UNESCO-declared Natural World Heritage Site since 1999. Here, participants will experience the Prehistoric Mural, visit the Indian Cave, and explore the Rancho de San Vicente and La Ermita hotels, among other points of interest.

Also in western Cuba, but within the province of Artemisa, the group will visit Soroa, known as the "Rainbow of Cuba." The itinerary includes the Rey the Potter’s workshop-house and the "Castillo de las Nubes" (Castle in the Clouds) and Mirador del Sur (Southern Overlook), where they can enjoy a beautiful natural landscape.

Subsequently, in Havana, they will tour the Morro-Cabaña complex, site of the 43rd edition of the International Tourism Fair FITCuba 2025, which opens its doors on the 30th.

The Ciénaga de Zapata (Zapata Swamp) and its Taíno village, in the province of Matanzas, are also part of the FAM trip, as is Punta Perdiz, a paradise for diving enthusiasts.

trinidad.jpgThe visitors will then have the opportunity to explore Trinidad, one of the first seven villages founded by the Spanish on the island more than five centuries ago. This includes its historic center, the Romantic Museum, the church, the Bar la Canchánchara, famous for its rich cocktail based on sugarcane juice, rum, and lemon, and, of course, the well-known Valle de los Ingenios (Valley of the Sugar Mills).

The trip will conclude in the renowned city of Remedios, famous for its "Parrandas" (festivals). Here, they will visit the museum of sugar, rum, and tobacco, from where they will depart on the Steam Train to the Curujey farm, where they will enjoy an exquisite Creole lunch. Afterwards, among other places, they will visit the Artisan Square, the Freedom Park, the Hotel E Real, the Parrandas Museum, the 7 Juanes tavern, and the 3 Reyes store.

There is no doubt that the guests on this tour will leave very satisfied with all they will see and learn, and they will certainly have plenty of "Reasons" to offer attractive programs to clients who request to travel to Cuba.
