Cubanacan's "Motivos Cubanacan" Event Returns for Second Edition This November

The Cubanacan hotel group, a leading player in Cuban tourism, will host the second edition of its "Motivos Cubanacan" event this coming November. The event, dedicated to eastern Cuba, aims to showcase and promote the region's beauty and attractions, thereby stimulating tourist interest in vacationing on the island.

The announcement was made this Tuesday by Yaima Suarez, Vice President of the group, on the occasion of the entity's 38th anniversary, celebrated at the Iberostar Selection Parque Central hotel in Havana.

During the celebration, attended by partners, collaborators, and specialized press, the executive emphasized that the planned tour will be an opportunity to collectively rediscover a region rich in culture, history, music, and nature. It will also enable the chain to strengthen its offerings in an increasingly competitive market.

Furthermore, Suarez stated that Cubanacan is working on an improvement plan in preparation for the 2025-2026 winter season, with the goal of presenting a revitalized hotel product with an enhanced image. This initiative aims to meet the expectations of potential clients, returning customers, and tour operators.

In this regard, she mentioned that beverage and food standards, as well as corporate menus, are being reviewed. As part of this process, she announced the implementation of all-inclusive service at the Hotel Playa Girón, located within the Península de Zapata Natural Park.

That particular accommodation, along with several others located in the provinces of Pinar del Rio, Havana, Matanzas, Remedios, and Trinidad, were visited by tour operators, travel agents, and specialized press who participated in the first edition of "Motivos Cubanacan" last April. The purpose of these visits was to familiarize them with the facilities, conditions, and possibilities for offering their services to vacationers.

Later, she added, "We have developed various commercial brands that integrate sun and beach, nature, culture, and tradition products. And we have done so with a vision of offering high-quality, sustainable, safe, and distinctive tourism services."

Regarding the company's future projections, she affirmed that it is focused on innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation, in line with emerging trends.

Created on August 5, 1987, by historical leader Fidel Castro, the Cubanacan hotel group currently operates 118 hotels with more than 18,000 rooms in the country's main destinations. It also maintains marketing contracts with major foreign hotel chains present on the island, including Meliá, Iberostar, Be Live, Blau, Kempinski, Rock Hoteles, Valentín, and Blue Diamond.
