The second edition of ExpoBodas 2025 opened this Thursday at the iconic Hotel Nacional de Cuba, attended by promoters, designers, photographers, suppliers of party materials and accessories, and other industry professionals.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Diana Olivera, General Director of the Cubatur agency, stated that the island has the potential to become an attractive wedding destination, not only for its natural charms and hospitality but also for its highly competitive prices within the region.
The three-day event will feature numerous activities, including presentations, valuable networking sessions, talks, and advisory sessions on organizing destination weddings at idyllic beaches. These events promote an authentic culture, romance, and celebration in the distinctive Cuban style.
Conceived for tour operators, wedding planners, and other sector providers, ExpoBodas will allow participants to discover new business opportunities and other attractions for this type of celebration.
Tours of various iconic sites in the capital are also planned, including the Havana Malecón seawall, the Morro-Cabaña Military Historical Park, and several locations in the famous Varadero resort.
Organized by the Cubatur travel agency, the event is supported by several institutions within the sector, including the Gran Caribe hotel group and the Ministry of Tourism.
