Editorial Artechef, world’s first ranked specialized cuisine magazine

The Cuban publishing house Arte Chef, dedicated to the edition of cookbooks, reached first place in the world ranking of publishing houses of its kind this year, in the Gourmand World Cookbook Award contest among 150 publishers submitted.

An information published by the Central American and Caribbean digital newspaper adds that in just 5 years that editorial, which represents the Cuban Culinary Association ACC), has published 45 titles for a total of around 150 thousand copies in volume, for the enjoyment of the sector professionals, as well as people in general.

Likewise, in other categories the book "The Treasure of Cuban Cuisine" by Professor Jorge Junco was recognized as the awarded title of Latin America, while for the Caribbean "Many sources on the Cuban table" from Eddy Fernández, President of the ACC, and Miriam Rubiel, received the award.

On the other hand, in the category of products, the award went to "Cocktails with honey" from the Apícola de Cuba company. This publishing house, in addition to innumerable specialized books, publishes the Artechef Magazine, with articles, recipes of Cuban dishes and news related to the sector by masters of the island's cuisine.

The Gourmand World Cookbook Awards are an important recognition given each year to the best cookbooks and wine books in the world. It was established in 1995 by the French Chef Edouard Cointreau.
