Exhibitors from 17 countries at the International Handicraft Fair of Cuba

Exhibitors from 17 countries will meet in Havana from December 5 to 17, at the 21st International Fair of Crafts FIART 2017, dedicated to glass creations as a manifestation, announced the organizers. For 12 days craftsmen from Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Spain, Guatemala, India, Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, Nigeria, Nicaragua, Panama, Venezuela, Brazil, Uruguay and Cuba, among other nations, will show the public the most representative of their handmade creations. Under the premise of Art, Utility and Trade, the Pabexpo fairground, in the west of the Cuban capital, will host the event, which is inserted in the celebrations of the Ibero-American Year of Crafts, and in which the island will be represented by 242 individual stands and seven entities. The collateral program of the event, also dedicated to the eastern province of Santiago de Cuba, will include exchanges between specialists and creators, and theoretical meetings related to the development of contemporary crafts. The International Handicrafts Fair is held every December and becomes an important space for the promotion and commercialization of artisan creation. As in each edition, the best stands and exhibited products will be awarded.
