The 4th International Congress of Fashion, Furniture, Environments and FIMAE Styles 2024 was one of the most important events developed during the Cubaindustria International Convention,  which addressed interesting topics related to those sectors.

cubaindustria-2024-1.jpgThis event, which was part of the congresses held during the five days of the convention, in the opinion of those attending, were of utmost importance, above all, the need to diversify the production of these branches was discussed to satisfy the needs of the population.

When speaking at that meeting, engineer Mirla Díaz Fonseca, president of the Light Industry Business Group (Gempil) and the organizing committee, said that in the country guiding principles that prioritize cleaning productions, cosmetics, textiles, graphics, tannery, leather, hygienic-sanitary items, mattresses, bags, ropes, footwear, saddlery, furniture, polygraphy, paintings, varnishes, matches, candles, plastic items and sports equipment, hence the need to diversify productions and increase technological capacity with the objective of increasing import substitution and promoting exports.

cubaindustria-2024-3.jpgIn these complex years, companies have had to make every effort to meet demands and have managed to identify new sources of available financing, monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to meet the objectives set for the development of the country.

She added in that sense that the linkage with the forms of management has made possible the supply of raw materials, the development of joint productions taking advantage of the productive capacities and creation of various goods and services.

Finally, the executive considered that achieving greater dynamic participation, competitive and diversified products in external markets is currently essential to achieve the necessary replenishment of raw materials and income.

This congress included 3 international Symposiums: Habana Fashion, Furniture, Perfumery and Cosmetics. The Havana Fashion International Symposium had a space for  scientific exchange, during which different topics related to that sector, including dyes in garments, environmental alternative for saving water in washing processes.
