The 13th International Construction Fair FECONS 2022, will take place from April 26 to 29, and has as its central motto "increase efficiency in construction", as it was announced March 9, in Havana.
At a press conference offered at the headquarters of the Ministry of Construction, the entity that organizes the event, &Aángel Vilaragut Montes de Oca, first deputy minister of the sector, announced that on the 27th and 28th of April, the 13th Technical Scientific Conference will also take place in the face-to-face and virtual modality, a scenario to interact about scientific-technical development in one of the main sectors of the country's economy.
According to Vilaragut, during this event there will be lectures related to the link between construction and the sustainable development goals in the 2030 Agenda; mitigation and adaptation to the impact of construction on the environment; trends in novel materials; research and application of nanotechnology in materials and products; as well as technologies using 3D printers for construction elements and housing.
Both at the fair and at the conference, professionals from the material-producing sector, builders, suppliers and designers can participate; academics and specialists, contracting entities, investors, marketers, universities and scientific centers.
So far, the attendance of over 60 companies from 15 countries has been confirmed and the call is still open for those who are interested in attending and have not yet materialized their registration.
