With the participation of numerous national and foreign businessmen and professionals from the sector, the 25th edition of the International Agroindustrial Fair was inaugurated this Monday.
Alimentaria FIAGROP 2024, whose fundamental objective is to publicize the potential of that economic branch in Cuba, the results of innovation in relation to sovereignty food and nutritional sovereignty and the business and investment possibilities in Cuba.The event, which will take place until the 24th at the Rancho Boyeros fairgrounds, provides an extensive program that includes conferences on numerous related topics with the sector including horticulture, blockchain technology applied to health services projects and Nano silicon, among others.
One of the most anticipated sections by the participating foreign delegations is, without a doubt, the presentation of the portfolio of business opportunities that has 59 projects open to foreign investment and also shows its export possibilities.
Likewise, attendees are eagerly awaiting the program of launches, tastings and pairings, which include products such as honey, cheeses, fruits, cassava, cigars and, especially, the presentation of liquor and coffee wine by the Company Rolando Ayub Processor. As on other occasions, the long-awaited rodeo show will take place every afternoon and, in addition,auctions of cattle, sheep, goats and pigs will be held.
This 25th edition of FIAGROP, sponsored by the Ministries of Agriculture and Food Industry, and the Sugar Business Group, Azcuba, has the presence of representatives of Italy, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Russia, Netherlands, Panama, Puerto Rico, Canada, Bahamas, Brazil and China, as well as about 100 Cuban companies, 16 foreign companies and the new economic actors of Cuba.
