The Business Group of Informatics and Communications of Cuba (GEIC) will promote its portfolio of products and services in the next edition of the International Fair of Havana (Fihav 2017), announced the entity said in a statement. According to the Director of Information and Communication of GEIC, Jorge Galbán Blanco, the grouping will bring a renewed and distinctive image to 35 edition of the most important business event in the country. In FIHAV 2017, the business group, sharing with suppliers and internationally renowned customers, will also seek to implement new lines of business to increase their exports, he added. Blanco indicated that the technological conglomerate has a large variety of integrated entities and each one brings its knowledge into the production of competitive and profitable solutions. The official said that the portfolio of products and services of GEIC the integration of Chinese technologies, the deployment of software applications and software services. He is also concerned with specialization in computer security, commercialization of integral engineering services, and telecommunications infrastructure, he added. The leader said that GEIC, brings together the radio operators and television from Cuba (Radiocuba) and the digital trunking system (Movitel). It also provides services to natural persons of Cuba, inserting them in the program of computerization of society, creating synergies, infrastructures and advising them on the degree of innovation technology required, he said.
