The first edition of the International Transport and Logistics Fair concluded this Thursday with great success, which is reflected in the signing of numerous agreements that will contribute to the recovery and development of the sector in the largest of the Antilles.
Speaking at the closing session, the Cuban Minister of Transport, Eduardo Rodríguez, highlighted the importance of this event that allowed renewing previously established contacts and creating new ones in favor of promoting the sector.
Later he meant, in this sense, that both the international cooperation forum and the business round fulfilled their purpose, since they had a broad participation of professionals from the sector.
According to information offered by Rodríguez, 37 contracts and more than 100 agreements and business intentions were signed, which reflects the success of the event. During three days of the fair, different activities were carried out, including conferences and product presentations related to transport and logistics.
An important moment was the launching of the new high-level program in Transport Engineering, which will begin next year. This important event, whose second edition will be held in April 2024, was organized by the PALCO Group and FIRA Barcelona, and was attended by 133 Cuban entities, 55 foreign companies and over five thousand visitors representing all sectors, including micro , small and medium businesses.
