First Master of Cuban Rum returns home

With the presentation this Friday of the Don Navarro rum of the iconic Havana Club brand, a well-deserved tribute is paid to the First Cuban Master, who dedicated his life and his talent in favor of the high quality and prestige that this drink exhibits throughout the world.

Havana Club Don Navarro is a very exclusive edition of exquisite quality that has a great meaning to paying homage to the great specialist who was José Pablo Navarro Campa and whose legacy is latent in Cuban rums. Result of the mixture of very special rum bases, wisely cared for and enriched for many years in the West of Cuba, the production of the new spirit will be limited to 1000 bottles each year, for exclusive sale in the national market in very select places in Cuba, as Havana, Varadero and Santiago de Cuba.

Internationally, it can only be purchased through the online sales site TheWhisky Exchange. Don Navarro is a rum with a unique color and sensory profile, smooth, very elegant but, at the same time, strong and fervent and was created by the Masters and Aspiring members of the Movement, who led by First Master of Cuban Rum Juan Carlos González, came together in fraternal collaboration to select, mix and create such a special spirit.

In this new delivery, the Centenario base created by Navarro, and which gave way to the birth of superior quality rums, later known as extrañejos. The design of the bottle is sober and warm; attributes that characterized the extinct First Master of Cuban Rum, while outlining the label, fine chains are drawn, as a symbol of union between all the Masters of Cuban Rum and of continuity, by the legacy transmitted from generation to generation.

The color bands evoke the visible nuances of the bases that make up the product. For all these reasons, it is considered that the new Havana Club proposal allows Navarro Campa to return to his estate, with the same impetus that he exerted for four decades in his irreplaceable work as First Master of Cuban Rum.
