First Slovak tourists of the current season arrive in Holguín

The beautiful City of Parks, as Holguín is also known, has just received the first group of tourists from Slovakia on board the Spanish airline World2Fly, who will be able to enjoy above all the wonders of sun and beach tourism in this eastern territory.

According to information from the Cuban News Agency (ACN), this is the first flight from Slovakia that arrived this Tuesday at the Frank País International Airport in Holguín, with 270 vacationers, as part of an operation by the Czech division of the tour operator DER Touristik.

During their stay, visitors will be able to see several hotels in the tourist center, among them the Paradisus Río de Oro, Lunas Mares and the Grand Memories Holguín. They will also fly to other cities in the eastern part of the country, including Santiago de Cuba and Baracoa, in Guantanamo province, according to Carlos Álvarez Infante, commercial specialist of the Tourism delegation in Holguín.

Although this is the first flight connecting Bratislava, the Slovak capital, with the city of parks, since the beginning of the current high season, a route was inaugurated with the Czech Republic that maintains a weekly frequency, every Saturday, Álvarez commented.

This connection is part of a strategy of the Tourism sector that enables expansion to the important Eastern European market, which will allow vacationers to know, during their stay, the benefits of the Caribbean nation, in the opinion of the executive. He also pointed out that traditional airlines from Canada, Germany, Italy and the United States of America, which add up to more than 60 weekly arrivals through the Holguín aerodrome, will maintain their presence in the destination during the current season.
