The celebration of the International Tourism Fair (FITCuba) 2018 in Santa Maria Key (north central coast of Villa Clara province) , will turn into a re-launching of this tourism destination to boost its commercialization, expressed authorities of the sector.
Through the Facebook social network, the Cuban Ministry of the sector highlights the interest in turning Villa Clara into a tourist corridor. It thus mentions that seven important hotels are to be built in the Santa Clara municipality, provincial capital, as well as Sagua la Grande for its natural beauty and rich culture and history, besides Camajuani, Remedios and Caibarien, municipalities in the way to the northern keys.
Other important investments that will be executed are the expansion of the emblematic hotels Los Caneyes and La Granjita in Santa Clara, as well as the refurbishment of patrimonial buildings for its suitability and beauty to turn them into accommodation spaces, the official website said.
