Gran Caribe hotels in Varadero restart operations

On July 1st, the Melí Internacional and Arenas Blancas hotels, of the Gran Caribe Hotel Group, will restart operations at 60 percent of their capacities and with adequate hygienic-sanitary measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

In a meeting with the press, the Group's delegate in Matanzas province, Ismary Hernández Pérez, pointed out that with the reopening of these two facilities, more than 600 rooms will be added to the national market.

Although smiles will not be seen because the nasobuco (facemask) hides them, guests will appreciate the affability in the eyes and gestures of the workers at our facilities, which have always been characterized by the quality of their services.

For its part, since last June 26 the Islazul Hotel Group restarted its services for the national market in Varadero, one of the main sun and beach resorts in the country, while Palmares reopened several establishments, such as the emblematic One, in the Cuban capital.

Since June 18, the largest of the Antilles restarted tourist activity for the national market, with the exception of the Havana and Matanzas provinces.

As of July 1, according to an official announcement, travel agents and tour operators can sell trips to foreigners for stays from July 1, in the hotels of the northern and southern keys of the island, always under strict sanitary measures.
